RESTAURANT MANAGER

Job Description

Rottnest Island – Western Australia $80,000 – $95,000 / year + Super – Full-time with included shared accommodation, services, and meals.


Start Date – December 2023

The ideal candidate should:

  • Already be in Perth or planning to arrive.

  • Have managerial experience in restaurants, preferably Italian, with more than 100 seats.

  • Be open to potential career progression.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing the restaurant’s day-to-day operations.

  • Hiring, training, and staff development.

  • Proficiency in achieving KPIs for labor cost and cost of goods (COGs).

  • Completing end-of-day operational and financial reports.

  • Participating in weekly and monthly management briefings and meetings.

  • Demonstrating strong leadership skills.

  • Contributing to budget planning and being motivated to achieve set goals.

Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in a restaurant manager position.

  • Approved Manager certification. Ability to work under pressure.

  • Knowledge of H&L (POS) is appreciated but not mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Time management.

  • Strong administrative skills.
